It is a conversation
No intake form marathon and no pressure to commit. You describe what is happening, I ask questions, and we both get a sense of fit.
Work With Me
You do not have to know how to explain it yet. Most people arrive with a rough sense that something keeps repeating and a hope that it can be different. That is enough to start with.
Free Consultation
The first step is a free consultation call. We talk about what brings you here, what you have already tried, and whether working together makes sense. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
Or call the office at (213) 761-8555.

If what you need sits outside my specialties or my license, I will tell you and suggest where to look instead.
03
If it feels right, we find a recurring time. If you want to think about it, that is a completely reasonable answer.
Sessions
Anywhere in California
Neither option is the better one. Some people start with telehealth and move to the office; others do the reverse. We can decide on the consultation call and change it whenever it stops fitting.
In person, sessions can also be held outdoors as walk-and-talk therapy on the beach.
Fees
Weekly sessions are the usual rhythm. Consistency does more for this work than session length does.
Private pay. I do not bill insurance directly. I provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement, and many plans reimburse a portion of the fee. Checking your out-of-network outpatient mental health benefit before we start is worth the phone call.
The initial consultation is free, and cancellations need 48 hours' notice.

About $0 reimbursed
Estimated out-of-pocket cost: $300. This is an estimate, not a quote or guarantee. Insurers may reimburse an allowed amount rather than the full fee. Confirm your deductible, allowed amount, and coinsurance directly with your plan.
